I will share few quick tips to lose weight and get in shape easily.
1. Check your calories
We usually eat 3-4 times a day like breakfast, lunch, evening snack,s and dinner. Each meal is attached with some amount of calories (high calories or low calories) depending upon the portion of your meal and what are you eating in that meal.
But what we forget is to keep a check on the calories that we are taking in each meal. In order to reduce weight, all you need to have a track of your calories. Basically, you need to be in caloric deficit. Suppose you are taking 3000 calories per day, then you need to reduce 400-500 calories without skipping your meals. So you have to plan your meals accordingly.
What does caloric deficit mean?
As mentioned above, when you take a meal there are certain amount of calories attached to it. The simple way to reduce your calories is to replace your everyday food with healthy choices which has less amount of calories.
For example: Replace your breakfast paranthas with a bowl of muesli (cereals) in low fat milk (double toned milk), similarly for lunch, add a bowl of salad and cut down one chapati and for dinner, have some low carb meal like boiled egg whites, or salad and one chapatti, a bowl of veggies etc.
2. Carb cycling
This is one of most important aspects and also related to your calories intake in your daily diet. Carb (Carbohydrate) cycling is the fluctuation of your carbohydrate intake in order to reduce the fat from your body. For instance, you can be on low carbs for at least 4 days and moderate carbs for 3 days.
What you really need to do?
Eliminate starchy foods from your diet like bread, chapatti, potatoes, rice, etc. The alternative you can add is salad, soya chunks, veggies, egg whites, cottage cheese (Paneer) etc.
3. Cut the Sugar
It seems that cutting down sugar doesn’t make much difference but mark my words if you minimize your sugar intake or cut down completely for 20 days, the results will be inevitable. So try to keep sugar as low as you can in your daily diet.
4. Minimize salt intake
Salt is again one of the widely used products in every food. Salt holds water in our body that results in fluffiness and you feel bloated. If you are consuming more salt then it would lead to high risk of high blood pressure as well.
5. Add Green Tea
Green tea has emerged as one of the best drinks for health. It contains a lot of antioxidants and nutrients that provide plenty of health benefits. A lot of people misunderstand the science behind it and add green tea to lose weight without reducing their calories.
What Green tea actually does to your body?
Green tea has low calorie content, enhance your metabolism which eventually helps in burning the fat. Add 1-2 cup of green tea and pair up with exercises and a balanced diet to ensure healthy weight loss. As it is like a no calorie drink so you can easily include green tea along with your evening snacks.
6. Drink plenty of water
One of the most ignored aspects of losing weight is water consumption. People often try to lose weight without drinking plenty of water which is difficult. Water actually helps flushing out the toxins from your body. I drink 2 glasses of warm water with lemon every morning to get the mileage for whole day water intake. Water helps in melting the fat of your body as you may consume less food if you have a good water intake throughout the day. So drink lots and lots of water if you really want to reduce the fat of your body. Make it a habit and be ready to see the change.
7. Exercise at least 30 minutes for 3 to 4 days
In order to get fast results, adding a 30-minute workout can do wonders.
If we eat daily then why don’t we exercise daily? The way eating is essential for our body, the same way exercise also can’t be ignored. So pull up your socks and get ready to exercise.
